जो वाबस्ता हुए तुमसे वो अफ़साने कहाँ जाते,

तुम्हारी बेरुख़ी ने लाज रख ली बादाख़ाने की,

तुम आँखों से पिला देते तो पैमानें कहाँ जाते,

चलो अच्छा हुआ काम आ गई दीवानगी अपनी,

वगरना हम ज़माने भर को समझाने कहाँ जाते,

निकल कर दैरो काबा से अगर मिलता ना मैख़ाना,

तो ठुकराये हुये इन्सान ख़ुदा जाने कहाँ जाते.
